Recently, Grosper shipped two corn flake production lines with a daily capacity of 240 tons to Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia. The lines feature key equipment including a conditioning tower, a corn flake machine, and drying and cooling systems—designed to deliver efficient, stable production for customers. With strong performance and reliable build quality, Grosper’s corn flake equipment has earned broad customer recognition.
Three Core Devices
1) Conditioning Tower
The conditioning tower is a critical part of the line. Built with SS304 stainless steel and a specialized conditioning structure, it steams corn to an appropriate gelatinization level to ensure smooth downstream processing. Easy operation, corrosion resistance, and high output make it a practical choice for long-term production.
2) Corn Flake Machine (Flaking Unit)
The corn flake machine is the centerpiece of the entire line. It holds one national invention patent and 15 utility model patents. The machine supports online adjustment of flake thickness, allowing customers to respond quickly to different product requirements.
Its key component is the roller, manufactured from a high nickel–chromium–manganese alloy supplied by China First Heavy Industries and produced using German centrifugal composite casting technology. This combination helps ensure consistent roller hardness and uniform flake thickness. After a single drawing process, one roller can process more than 35,000 tons of corn flakes, reflecting strong durability and capacity.
3) Drying and Cooling Equipment
Drying and cooling after flaking is equally essential. Grosper’s horizontal drying and cooling box provides stronger drying/dehydration performance and improved cooling results compared with conventional vertical units. It can reduce material moisture from 20% to below 14%, addressing a key technical gap in the domestic market. The system is widely used for drying and cooling flaked corn, soybeans, oats, and other products.
